Information on Alaska Food Handler Cards
Alaska's state government's Alaska Food Code requires that every Alaska food service worker outside the municipality of Anchorage successfully pass the Alaska Food Worker Card test. The site where the test can be completed is listed below. The cost is $10 per card.
The municipality of Anchorage has their own food handler's examination and card allowing foodservice workers to gain employment in that city. Each foodservice worker is also encouraged to contact their specific municipality to check on any additional requirements that may be necessary.
