Consistently one of the healthiest states in the country, California is home to more nutrition based-business and industry than any other state. In fact, the demand for nutritionists and registered dietitians is so strong, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (www.bls.gov) that hospitals and long-term care facilities are worried about a shortage.
