Information on Connecticut Food Handler Cards

Information for foodservice workers in the state of Connecticut can be found on the Connecticut State Department of Health website and on the county department of health websites for each county throughout the state. Many counties and areas throughout Connecticut do not require a universal foodservice or food handler's card or certification. However, there are a number of online agencies offering food handler's certificates for those who wish to take the exam and purchase their card. Prices are generally between $10 and $16 for the permit. Courses very depending on which agency you choose.
